"As your School Board member, I am writing to keep you informed as FCPS
faces the most difficult budget situation we have seen in more than ten
years. Budgets are something we all understand, and many of us struggle
with, as we balance our own financial resources. With limited
resources, come difficult choices – and the Board is faced with making
tough decisions that will affect our students, schools, and
communities. Currently, we face around a $100 million dollar deficit.
