Two weeks ago, FCCPTA asked the twenty-one candidates campaigning for School Board to respond to our questionnaire.  The FCCPTA Executive Committee extends its gratitude to the candidates who committed to answering our extensive questionnaire.  I can personally report to you that our candidates have been very busy making appearances, canvassing neighborhoods, planting yard signs, and responding to a multitude of questionnaires from various organizations committed to maintaining our world-class school system.

The candidates' responses to the FCCPTA School Board Candidate Questionnaire are available on our website, www.fccpta.org.

A related candidate information service available to FCCPTA members and the public is the At-Large School Board Candidate Forum co-produced with the League of Women Voters of the Fairfax Area, and Jim Southworth's Inside Scoop Productions.  The Forum was first televised on Fairfax Public Access channel 10 on Sunday, October 2.  Participating at-large school board candidates were divided into two forums each of which had approximately 28 minutes to respond to questions created by FCCPTA and LWVFA.  The recorded show is available on the FCCPTA website, www.fccpta.org.
Here is how you can help FCCPTA spread the word about our School Board Candidate Questionnaire and our At-Large School Board Candidate Forum:

Sincerely,
Ramona Morrow
