"Hawk Flight" is a NEW series of TWO events scheduled just prior to the start of the 2011-12 school year for parents and students to pick up student class schedule, purchase P.E. uniforms, submit yearbook orders, set up or fund lunch accounts, and visit with and learn more about HSS booster clubs and the PTSA. We hope this one-stop activity will aid in a smoother start to the 2011-12 school year, for parents AND students.
PLEASE NOTE: Class schedules will only be given to students with completed hard copies of their Emergency Care & Health Information forms! Packets and schedules WILL NOT be mailed home this year so please make a point of visiting school during one of the following sessions: August 31, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. or September 1 from 9-11 a.m. Should you be unavailable to attend either of the sessions, schedules will be given out on the first day of school.
Student schedules will be distributed at the dates/times listed above in the following locations:
Hawk Flight replaces “Locker Night” from previous years. Clubs and activities for students will be set up in the gymnasium offering additional information for the upcoming school year. Personnel will also be stationed in the school cafeteria during Hawk Flight sessions to assist parents in setting up and/or funding students' cafeteria accounts -- please consider doing so at this time, so that lines will run more smoothly the first week of school.
