The SLEEP In Fairfax organization has assembled a "Dream Team" for "SLEEP Night." Join a panel of experts, including Dr. Judith Owens, Director of Sleep Medicine at Children's National Medical Center; Dr. Helene Emsellem, Director of the Center for Sleep and Wake Disorders; Dr. Sandy Chung, President of the Medical Society of Northern Virginia; Steve Greenburg, President of the Fairfax County Federation of Teachers; Terry Eiserman, Arlington County high school teacher; and Talia Schmitt, High School Leadership Team; to discuss teen sleep and school start times.

Several members of the Fairfax County School Board will be there. We hope you'll also become part of the team. You will be able to ask questions and share your own experiences with early school start times. Light refreshments will be served.

Date: Tuesday, February 26, 2013
Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Location: Annandale High School (Lecture Hall)

SLEEP Night also will feature a student photo contest with cash awards, a raffle for teachers and students. The Photo Contest theme is "I can't do my best when I don't get my rest." Deadline for submissions is February 24, 2013.

The snow date for SLEEP Night will be Wednesday, March 6.
